Weather extremely nice and the sea very calm - forecast for coming days is promising.
Day 2 was the very last 'Legend of the Seas' Captain's Welcome Aboard Reception in Centrum with Captain Juan Luis Caranti's welcome address and presentation of the senior officers.
The total number of guests are 1696 from 47 different nationalities - from UK a total of 431 guests and a total of 442 Australian guests all the way from Brisbane. Crew Members 751.
At this cruise there are 1067 Crown & Anchor members:
- 270 diamond, 183 diamond plus and 57 pinnacle members.
Due to the large amount of diamond members Anchers Aweigh is overflow lounge.
At Day 3 at 10:30 am we did have the 'Safe Haven' drill for preparation of the Gulf of Aden transit. The procedures in case of an very unlikely event that we do encounter pirates was explained and practiced. During the passage there will be lookouts in place around the ship.
